Good luck with the quilting - that part always stumps me but you have some great ideas suggested. Out lines with the walking foot around the stars and then echo maybe? Cross hatch in the background? A little one in the upper right and one the same size as the first two in the lower left?Laurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00827401608677447554noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7946139334986869549.post-45075137409032860572014-12-06T10:08:33.283-05:002014-12-06T10:08:33.283-05:00Wow! And the floating rainbow in Kona white is dramatic. I am a big fan of mixing straightline quilting with walking foot, and free motion motifs. Choose several motifs and practice them with the star quilt since there is so much negative space. I would love to see what you come up with!! Keep in touch. I've been making quilts a long time now and not that you need it, but am open to giving imput. We all like to discuss quilting ideas! What a great collection of quilts. Enjoy the quilting. I've seen similar star quilts with concentric outlines, or radiating star points would look great. Have fun with the finishing. scraphappyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01472985095648633397noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7946139334986869549.post-30845900793088746922014-12-06T08:51:06.214-05:002014-12-06T08:51:06.214-05:00Those are wonderful quilts.
