- Jennifer
- i'm a happy wife to my loving husband Dave, and mother to 6 wonderful children. we live on a little homestead in northeastern PA, raising children, small livestock and vegetables. i love to quilt, sew, knit and do scrapbooking. however, between homeschooling, laundry and remodeling our 1807 colonial farmhouse, i don't have nearly enough time in the day to do all those things!

Puttin' Stuff Up: canning and freezing
- venison: 3 packages tenderloin steak
- venison: 16 1.5 pound packages ground
- venison: 30 quarts stew meat
- apple butter: 22 pints
- apple pie filling: 22 quarts
- applesauce: 40 quarts
- grape juice: 10 quarts
- grape jelly: 34 1/2 pints, 22 pints
- 6 chickens~ cost? youdon'tevenwanttoknow!
- 3 gallon bags of green beans (and the rest to the pig)
- 200 ears corn = 22 bags frozen creamed corn
- 350 ears corn = 42 bags whole frozen corn
- 11 buff orpington roosters (froze whole)
- 16 2qt. bags spagetti sauce (had to freeze it because the stove was on the blink)
- bags and bags of frozen peppers- quartered OR sliced
- 3 gallon bags frozen onions: sliced and chopped
- 11 quarts spagetti sauce
- 7 quart bags green beans
- 12 pints pickled beets
- 28 quarts~ 4 cups blueberries
- 6 bags pie cherries
- 22 quarts chicken broth
- 50 chickens: $5.82~ peep to plate
- 2 quarts strawberry freezer jam
- 42 pints strawberry freezer jam
- 8 bags~ 2 qt. strawberries
